Florence May Carter's 1920s Prohibition Party | Live with the Jack Heavenor Quartet

  • The Venue 5 Wellmeadow Street Paisley, Scotland, PA1 2EF United Kingdom (map)

Step back into the glamour, intrigue and decadence of the Roaring Twenties as the Jack Heavenor Quartet joins the entertainment line-up for Florence May Carter's 1920s Prohibition Party. Taking place on Saturday 12th September, this immersive evening brings the world of the speakeasy to life with live music, cabaret, burlesque, showgirls, magic and spectacular vintage-inspired entertainment, all surrounded by sumptuous 1920s décor and costume.

Throughout the evening, the Jack Heavenor Quartet will provide the live soundtrack, with Jack on vocals and clarinet alongside piano, double bass and drums. Expect swinging standards, jazz-age favourites and music inspired by the energy of the dance halls and nightlife of the era, performed as part of a carefully curated programme of live entertainment.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the occasion with 1920s-inspired dress, from Gatsby glamour and decadent eveningwear to Peaky Blinders-inspired tailoring.

Following the live show, the celebrations continue until 1am with an electro-swing DJ.
